History
B and H Phone Number: B&H, which derived its name from the initials of its proprietors, Blimie Schreiber and her husband, Herman, was first established in 1973 as a storefront film shop at 17 Warren Street in Tribeca. Later in the 1970s, B&H expanded its inventory to include a larger selection of film and photography products after moving to 119 West 17th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues in the Photo District. The store relocated to its current site in 1997.
