Racing
Team JEGS is one of the most successful racing organizations in the 60-year history of organized drag racing, having won seven NHRA World Championships, sixteen Division Championships, and well over 100 victories at the national, divisional, and local levels.
As a racer, John has turned his attention to his son Cody’s career in circle track racing. Cody is a competitor in the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Kennedy, John’s daughter, likes to go ice skating.
Troy Sr., a former NHRA Pro Modified Champion, is teaming up with his son Troy Jr. for a two-car Pro Mod attempt sponsored by JEGS.com in 2015. Troy Jr. is a competitor in the Sportsman Class of the NHRA. Meghan, Troy Sr.’s daughter, races whenever she gets the chance, and Paige and Kelly, his sisters, operate Junior Dragsters.
Mike coaches his sons Jack and Clay in drag racing and other sports, and he still excels in the Sportsman Classes.
Six-time NHRA Champion Jeg Jr. is among the best drivers in drag racing; in 2013. He won his fifth Pro Stock championship. Jeg III, his son, is a high school champion golfer.
