A commercial contractor is in charge of the National Visa Centre. Every day, the White House, legislative offices, U.S. embassies and consulates, INS offices, and visa applicants call the National Visa Centre thousands of times to inquire about the status of their cases.
Upon dialling the National Visa Centre, you will initially hear an automated message asking you to identify the reason for your call. The recorded message is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and can address most questions. To find out the status of your case, give the National Visa Centre a call.
